Meet Lauren!
Lauren is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who believes in the power of our body, mind & spirit.
Lauren has been in the mental health industry as a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2016. Since then, she has worked in the residential setting for substance use disorders, in the community outpatient setting with vulnerable populations, and over the last few years inĀ the outpatient private practice setting in East Texas.Ā
Lauren has mentored many PMHNPs and also offers mentorship for professionals wanting to open their own practice or improve their confidence as a mental health provider.

It all started when I started my private practice...
Back in February 2020, right before COVID changed our society forever, a colleague and I opened the first mental health practice out in our area of East Texas. Mental health was suddenly taken seriously and people were making the time to address it. Not only that, people were beginning to embrace the online platforms and realising how this made mental health care more accessible.
While I love what I do, I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress I wanted for my patients... particularly due to insurance dictating and only approving sub-par care with little time to actually treat root causes.
But then everything changed...
I started training in other modalities of care outside of traditional medicine. The more integrative care, alternative treatments and functional medicine I learned, the more I became obsessed with incorporating this into my patient care. I finally realised as a provider, I am able to provide care however I want (within my scope).
So,Ā I started working with highly motivated patients who were willing to have more 1:1 visitsĀ to work on very specific goals. Most of them received ADHD coaching 2-4 times a week for at least three months, adjusting their nutritional intake and other lifestyle changes.Ā
I noticed faster progress, better outcomes, and improved retention of better habits in these patients compared to those who only saw meĀ for 15-30 minutes every few months. I noticed the same results when I worked more collaboratively with other patients to improve their health and wellness. And the best part? These patients did not have to take much more time away from their family or busy lives. These sessions were online, solution focused, and goal directed, making it easier to implement changes supportive of their goals.
As a mental health advocate, I realized my passion included teaching and mentoring other PMHNPs. I help other mental health professionals improve their performance as a provider, improve their life/work balance, and help them open & run their own practice. This helps increase access to mental health care in our country and reduces burn out in our profession!
Ā Now I'm able to offerĀ this to motivated people like you...
I worked tirelessly on researching the best approaches to help busy people like you reach their professional or mental health and wellness goals. I have put togetherĀ specific niche services dedicated to working on goals that are relevant to YOU!
