Hi, I’m Lauren, the owner and CEO of Premier Mental Health and Wellness. I’ve been a nurse since 2011 and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2016. Since March 2020, I have made it my mission to expand access to quality mental health care in our community by independently owning and operating my mental wellness clinic and expanding into different areas of Texas. I also enjoy mentoring and training other psychiatric nurse practitioners.
Much of my career has been dedicated to supporting individuals facing addiction and complex PTSD. I take an integrative approach to mental health treatmen and also offer hypno-breathwork therapy for deeper healing, as well as Spravato (esketamine) treatment for treatment resistant depression. I’m currently accepting new patients ages 5 and up.
I have additional training in managing psychiatric medications during pregnancy, and in supporting clients through the mental health impacts of hormonal changes, including menopause and peri-menopause. I take a personalized, hormone-informed approach to help my clients navigate these vulnerable periods of life with greater balance and wellbeing,
Outside of my practice, I love spending time outdoors, traveling, reading, and enjoying life with my son, dogs Ravenclaw and Cooper, and my cat Rocky.
